Witchy Pumpkin

Happy Friday!
This past week has flown by...
Just like the summer has too...
I can't believe that it is time for the kids to go back to school and before we know it, it will be time for Halloween and all our fall decor to come out.

I have decided to get a little jump start on my Halloween Decor for this year... I want to decorate throughout my home this year with some cut and fun Halloween decor, I am not one that is into the the spooky halloween stuff..

I bought a SVG Kit last year and never got the time to play with it, so I was thinking this year that is one of the kits that I will be using.
"Haunted Forest" from SVG Cuts
I love their kits and they are so fun to make and watch take form.

Thought this would be so cute to add to my home decor

I love how cute this witchy pumpkin turned out.
I used a paper pack from Close To My Heart, that I bought last year and just had it in my stash.

I added a battery operated tealight candle inside

You can put a sweet treat inside if you wanted to use it as a candy piece...

Make sure you stop by SVG Cuts and check out their SVG kits...

I hope you enjoy todays project and come back again soon for more...

Happy Crafting!
Have a wonderful and safe weekend!

It's A Boy Baby Banner

Good Morning Everyone!

Wanted to share this adorable baby banner I made for my daughter's baby shower...
We just found out she is having a boy and now it is time for me to start crafting for the shower and for my newest grandson to be...

She is doing a country theme for the baby... She is my little country girl...

So I came up with this adorable Banner

I used my Cricut Explore and Design Space to create this adorable duckie banner...
Cartridges used:
Song Bird
Life's a Party
Cake Basics

I used the ribbed ribbon to tie it together and left on each end enough for hanging it up and I made two boys and attached them on top of the holes on the ends.

I am getting a jump start on all her shower stuff. Her due date in February but with the holidays coming up so fast I wanted to get a good jump start.

Thank you for stopping by today!

Back to School Photo Frame Prop

Hello Everyone!

I am just finishing up some projects for my daughters for when school goes back next week....
As every parent we take lots and lots of pictures on the first day of school... but this year I wanted to do something a bit different then we normally do and I love doing fun photos with the girls.
I decided to create a Photo Prop Frame...

I used my Cricut Explore and just typed in school and it came up with a bunch of different things you could use...

I used a white foam board and sprayed painted it blue and let it dry for a couple of hours before working with it....
Foam board was 30" tall, so we cut it in half and  for the center we left a 3" border around it.

The "Grade Part" is put on with Velcro so I can change it out for each one of my daughters...

Both of my daughters help me design this for them for First Day of School..

Sorry about the mess behind the scenes, but this is what happens when you have a creative mind and just go with the flow....

My daughters love to be in the craft room with me and help me.
I have been teaching them how to use my machines and use their creativity to make things...
Each one has their own style and I love that about them..

Well I hope you enjoyed todays project and stop back again soon...

Happy Crafting!

I love anything to do with animals and this was a great time for me to create something ...
A friend asked me to create something for their daughter's 2nd birthday and they are doing a safari theme...

So I created these adorable goody bags for her Thank You Favors..

I used the same topper as I did for the camp out goody bags, just changed a little bit...

(She supplied all the goodies inside the baggies...)

I used the Giraffe from SVG Cuts "Wild Child" SVG Collection...
I cut the tag from Cricut Design Space and used the print and cut...
The label is from "The First Few Years" Cartridge.

Topper is from Cricut " Make It Now"
I cut it out at 4" so it would fit the baggies I have in my stash....

Thank you for stopping by today and make sure to visit all the other blogs and leave a comment for them...

Happy Camper Goodie Bags

Happy Friday!!!!

I wanted to share with you a great project from Cricut Make it Now..
I needed something for my daughters Girl Scout Camp Out this weekend and found these while I was searching images and ideas...
And how better can you get it, everything is already laid out for you.
I did resize it to fit the baggies I had on hand and I also modified the wording, I made the wording a print and cut to make it a little quicker...

I needed to make 24 of these for the girls in the two troops that are doing their camp out together...

We put 1/2 of cup of trail mix in each baggy.
I cut mine out at 4"

I used some of the dark twine from my stash and simple just tied them on to each boot and then adjusted to off set them from each other and tied a little not at the top and used my Tim Holtz Stapler to attach them to the topper...

I used a square in the back ground and then I placed the words on top of it and flatten it to make it a print and cut...
I really like how this turned out...

I used Tim Holtz Destressed Ink " Frayed Burlap" to ink around the edges...

I had fun making these and I also found out how yummy Trail Mix is... So now I have a new snack for the craft room ...

I hope you all enjoyed todays project and come back again soon....

Watch tomorrow for a some great projects coming ... Walk on the Wild Side Blog Hop

Thank you for Stopping by today!

Slumber Party Invite

Hello Everyone !!!!

Today was my day to post for Connie Can Crop Design Team...
I had so much fun making this adorable invite using a Digital Stamp from Paper Nest Dolls..
I had not done one before and was nervous about it, but this was fun and I love how it turned out...

This is Princess Sweet Pea
She is so adorable.

I used my Silhouette software to size and print her out ( I did not use cameo to cut it out)
I then trimmed it down to the size I wanted.
I used Water Color Pencils from Michael's to color her.
I used the Cricut Explore to cut out the label and print the title...

The card measures 4 1/4" x 4 1/4"

I printed out 3 of them for practice and actually really liked how the first one turned out. So I had two left over and decided to let my daughter color one...
So this is to show that we can include the kids into making their invites to their parties and etc..

She really enjoyed it...

I hope you enjoyed todays project and come back again soon...

Thank you for stopping by today!
