Music Is Life Blog Hop

Welcome to the Music is Life Blog Hop

We sang our ABC's as children loud and off key!
We rocked out in our bedrooms with our friends to our favorite tunes.
We slow danced awkwardly to that memorable ballet with the boy we crushed on. We walked down the isle in to the wedding march as we married the man of our dreams. We sang a sweet lullaby to our babies as we rocked them to sleep. We sing our favorite songs as we drive the kids to school, annoying them the whole way! Yes, music is Life! It's everywhere in our lives!
Join us as we celebrate the wonderful Life of Music!!

Our instruments have all been tuned...time for the show to begin!

Here is my project...
We went to a local fair a few weeks ago and we had our Middle Daughter with us and she loves Country Music and Aaron Tippin was appearing there for a fair concert and we thought she would enjoy it, so we surprised her by taking her to see him... It was her first time seeing a live artist singing.. Well while we were watching my husband decided to go get me one of his cd's and while he was there looking at all the stuff the lady told him that Aaron Tippin would be coming out after the show and signing autographs... so what a special surprise that was for my daughter and for me as well...

As we were getting close to meeting Aaron his lead guitarist was helping out by taking the pictures of the guest with Aaron and he asked if I wanted him to use my phone to take the photo and of course I said YES!!! He was talking to my daughter and she was telling him all about playing flute in school and how one day she wants to learn to play guitar and he smiled and told her he was about her age when he began and to follow her dreams she is the only one that can make them come true... and he gave her his Guitar Pick that he used that night...

So long story short, she was so filled joy and happiness and excitement that evening and I wanted to make sure she had a journal to mark all these wonderful experiencing in her life with her dream of music, so I found a Smash Journal on clearance and thought it was the best way for her to log her special events during her making her dream of music come true...

I going to work on it with her to get her started this weekend...

Here is the journal for her to start with... I am printing out some of the words to a few of his songs for her to add in here.

Here she is watching him on stage....

Lead guitarist taking a selfie with my phone and my husband photo bombing his picture ...
My husband, my daughter and myself with Aaron Tippin
My son and his wife meeting Aaron Tippin
Now it is time for her to make her memories and have her own keepsake that she can share with her family and friends ....
She is going to use my cricut and cut some things out to add to her smash journal and make it her own ...

She loves Music and she loves to scrapbook with me, so what a great project for her and I to do together to get her started and she will always have this special memory of Her and me and of course our love for Music...

So always remember music is very important to our young generation, they use music to help them in their adventures in life.. .support your local schools music programs... don't let them take it away from our children...

Thank you for stopping by and I hope you enjoyed and come back again ...
I will be posting more pictures of her smash book to show what we have done to her beginning of her dream...
