Back to School Photo Frame Prop

Hello Everyone!

I am just finishing up some projects for my daughters for when school goes back next week....
As every parent we take lots and lots of pictures on the first day of school... but this year I wanted to do something a bit different then we normally do and I love doing fun photos with the girls.
I decided to create a Photo Prop Frame...

I used my Cricut Explore and just typed in school and it came up with a bunch of different things you could use...

I used a white foam board and sprayed painted it blue and let it dry for a couple of hours before working with it....
Foam board was 30" tall, so we cut it in half and  for the center we left a 3" border around it.

The "Grade Part" is put on with Velcro so I can change it out for each one of my daughters...

Both of my daughters help me design this for them for First Day of School..

Sorry about the mess behind the scenes, but this is what happens when you have a creative mind and just go with the flow....

My daughters love to be in the craft room with me and help me.
I have been teaching them how to use my machines and use their creativity to make things...
Each one has their own style and I love that about them..

Well I hope you enjoyed todays project and stop back again soon...

Slumber Party Invite

Hello Everyone !!!!

Today was my day to post for Connie Can Crop Design Team...
I had so much fun making this adorable invite using a Digital Stamp from Paper Nest Dolls..
I had not done one before and was nervous about it, but this was fun and I love how it turned out...

This is Princess Sweet Pea
She is so adorable.

I used my Silhouette software to size and print her out ( I did not use cameo to cut it out)
I then trimmed it down to the size I wanted.
I used Water Color Pencils from Michael's to color her.
I used the Cricut Explore to cut out the label and print the title...

The card measures 4 1/4" x 4 1/4"

I printed out 3 of them for practice and actually really liked how the first one turned out. So I had two left over and decided to let my daughter color one...
So this is to show that we can include the kids into making their invites to their parties and etc..

She really enjoyed it...

I hope you enjoyed todays project and come back again soon...

Thank you for stopping by today!

Zoo Day Waterfall Folio

Today I am so excited to show you my Waterfall Folio..
I love making Waterfall Folios, I have made several of the ones that Ginger from My Sister Scrapper has a tutorial for. But I decided that I wanted one a bit different and hold a little different size photos.

So this morning I created something that I think fits more of what I have been wanting to make...

This waterfall folio measures 5" x 6 1/2"
It can hold approx 20 pictures...

I used Echo Park " Day At The Zoo" Paper Kit.
I got it from " A Cherry On Top"

I made an accordion pocket on the left side.
I got the idea from Ginger (My Sister Scrapper)

I made the waterfall smaller  with less flaps than Ginger's original Waterfall Folio.

you can fit 2 1/2" x 3 3/4" photos on the each one...
In the pocket there are 5 photo mats and they will hold the same size photos as the waterfall..

The Giraffe is from SVG Cuts Set " Wild Child Set"
Title on Cover is from Miss Kate's Cuttables Set  " Zoo Fun Bundle"
Stickers are from the stick sheet that comes with the Paper Kit.

Large leaves are from " Wild Child Set"
Smaller leaves are from the title  "Zoo Fun Bundle"

This makes a great quick and easy project...

I currently working on a tutorial for this Waterfall Folio and hopefully will have it up next week...

I hope you enjoyed todays project and you come back again soon...

Baseball Cap with Sweets

Hello Everyone! Hope everyone is having a wonderful summer weekend... we are getting lots of rain in, so it is an inside kind of day today....

A couple weeks ago we had our end of session pizza party with my daughters softball coaches and I wanted to give each one of them something to remember their session with their team... I had made the lead coach a mini album and thought what could I make for her father which was her assistant coach, but he did so much  for the girls and cheered them on and always let them know winning was what it was all about... So I went to his daughter and found out his favorite candy and this is what I created for him....

3D Baseball Cap Box filled with Reese Peanut Butter Cups...
The design is from SVG Cuts - "Fun and Games Kit"
The "R" is from the fonts from my Cricut Design Space.

It was fun and simple to make...

Another Back Pack and Smores Pop Treat

I am busy busy with all the end of year stuff for all the girls activities that are coming to end for summer break...
We have Softball ended on Monday, youngest daughter's girl scouts ended last night and older daughter's girl scouts end this coming Monday. On Monday my older daughter will be bridging up to Cadette and it is exciting to watch my daughter's enjoy girl scouts as much as I did...
They are learning so many different things and meeting new friends...
My youngest daughter bridged up last week, she is now a Junior...

I wanted to make my oldest daughter's troop leader something fun and different, but stay on the Scouting side of things..
I decided to use the Back Pack from SVG Cuts again for this project... it is from the " Back to the Books" Kit...
It is so easy and quick to put together and even more fun to embellish it too.. and it adapts to different events and occasions...

The fish is from SVG Cuts too, it can be found in the Free Section..
Fire is from Cricut Old West
Card is from Cricut Campin' Critters
Thank You Tag is cut from Tim Holtz Die Cut

I embossed the front and side panels with my cuttlebug and folder " Chicken Wire"
The front of the pocket is embossed with the wood embossing folder by Darice

The Card inside I printed the saying on it by using the print and cut feature on the cricut explore ( learned that you can't use colored paper for that... bummed about that )

I used Tim Holtz Vintage ink to ink the edges...
I am going to put some Trail Mix, Note Pad, and pen inside.

So for my younger daughters last meeting I decided that i wanted to make the leaders and girls a special little treat and I heard a few of the girls talking about smores and thought it would be neat to make something to do with smores for the troop...
I came up with these

The Cute Smore is from SVG Cuts Free Section... I used Peachy Keen Baby Faces for the little face...
Tag is from Cricut Art Philosphy Cartridge.
I used the wood embossing folder to emboss the green cardstock..

These S'Mores Pops are so simple and quick to make up
1 small bag of semi sweet morsales
30 Marshmallows
1 sleeve of Graham Crackers (crushed)

Melt the morsales in the microwave
add the pop sticks and swirl the marshmallows in them until coated on the bottom, then dip on the graham crackers and let dry and harden...
I placed my on some wax paper until they were dry...

I hope you enjoyed and Happy Crafting...
